Electrical Engineer - Hardware Design

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer specialized in hardware design to join our international development teams. You will contribute to the creation of analog, digital, signal and power electronic circuits for energy and utilities projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical specifications, product ideas and solution concepts.
• Design and develop analog, digital, signal and power electronic circuits.
• Perform simulations, worst‑case analyses and FMEAs to validate and optimise designs.
• Evaluate, select and validate electronic components against product requirements.
• Conduct electrical, thermal and EMC measurements on prototypes and pre‑series units.
• Verify and validate prototypes, preparing verification and test documentation.
• Plan and coordinate qualification activities with internal and external laboratories.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation, test specifications and technical files for series production.
• Collaborate with international teams and support continuous improvement of drive technology and electronic systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics with experience bringing products to series production.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of power electronics, control and regulation technology.
• Familiarity with EMC, thermal and electrical testing and related verification processes.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, able to work in an international environment.
• Fluent in English and German.
