Finance Analyst (80-100%)

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join ABB’s Distribution Solutions division. In this hybrid role you will provide financial expertise to your assigned business unit, analysing performance, identifying trends and supporting decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business performance versus budget and forecast and propose improvement actions.
• Benchmark key performance indicators against industry competitors and internal ABB units.
• Develop financial models to evaluate hypotheses and assess impact on the business.
• Support preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a controlling function within a multinational organization.
• Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Proactive, collaborative and self‑driven with a team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• SAP FI/CO, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP PP, SAP BW/BI.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Power BI and Office 365.
