Group Controller – Agribusiness & Trading (EMEA)

About the role

The Group Controller for Agribusiness & Trading (EMEA) leads financial reporting, control activities and strategic analysis across the region. Reporting to senior finance leadership, this role ensures compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own and guide execution of accounting policies and financial controls to deliver timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, analysis and risk forecasts to support strategic decision‑making.
• Lead communication of finance operational results through performance dashboards and clear business value articulation.
• Promote a culture of continuous process improvement and operational excellence within the accounting function.
• Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, setting performance expectations, providing coaching and fostering an inclusive environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience directing financial reporting and control activities in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead process‑improvement initiatives and implement best‑in‑class accounting operations.
• Effective team leadership skills with a focus on talent development and performance management.
