Legal & Business Affairs Manager

About the role

Warner Music Group is seeking a Legal & Business Affairs Manager to oversee legal compliance and risk mitigation across its operations in Mexico and Colombia. The role involves guiding the legal team, managing contracts, and providing strategic business counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, advise, and supervise the legal team’s daily activities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including artistic, production, licensing, distribution, and service agreements.
• Provide legal counsel to group companies and support strategic business decisions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance by preparing accurate documentation for government authorities.
• Coordinate corporate governance tasks such as meeting minutes, resolutions, powers of attorney, and apostille processes.
• Supervise the creation and review of terms and conditions for promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Localize group policies (privacy, cookies, terms of use) to align with local legislation.

Required profile

• Legal degree with relevant professional qualification.
• Proven experience supervising a legal team, preferably in the entertainment or media sector.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican and Colombian law and regulatory environments.
• Excellent analytical and advisory skills to support business strategy.
