Manager - Corporate Tax Compliance (Zurich)

About the role

EY's Swiss Tax Compliance team advises national and international clients on corporate tax compliance and tax reporting. As a Manager in Zurich, you will own client engagements across the full tax compliance cycle, including corporate income tax returns, withholding tax declarations, tax calculations, tax provisions and Pillar Two (QDMTT) reporting. You will act as a trusted advisor, collaborate with global teams and lead client relationships, mentoring junior professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Own corporate tax compliance engagements for leading Swiss and multinational companies, advising on tax and process improvement
• Manage the full tax compliance lifecycle, reviewing tax returns, provisions and withholding tax filings and improving tax processes
• Lead and coordinate tax audits with cantonal tax authorities and the Swiss Federal Tax Administration
• Review OECD Pillar Two (QDMTT) filings, GIR notifications and related reporting obligations
• Work with international teams on complex cross-border tax and regulatory matters
• Coach and develop team members

Required profile

• Several years of experience in corporate taxation and tax compliance, ideally with a Certified Tax Expert qualification (or equivalent)
• Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios and drive process improvement and tax transformation projects
• Initial leadership experience and a passion for coaching juniors
• Fluent German and English; French is a plus
