AI Director - Machine Learning

About the role

This senior position leads advanced AI and machine learning initiatives within a highly innovative engineering environment in Switzerland. The AI Director shapes strategy, development, and implementation of AI‑driven solutions that transform creative workflows and unlock new possibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead research, development, prototyping, and deployment of machine learning solutions for innovative product experiences.
• Oversee AI/ML initiatives, including intelligent systems, workflow optimization, and experimental prototypes.
• Identify and integrate generative AI technologies across production processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather AI needs, prioritize opportunities, and deliver impactful solutions.
• Develop AI models trained on internal data and experiment with specialized machine learning systems.
• Establish guidelines, frameworks, and best practices for emerging AI technologies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an AI/ML leadership role (e.g., AI Director, AI Lead, Machine Learning Manager).
• Strong expertise in AI theory, algorithms, system design, and practical implementation.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex AI concepts to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative, mentoring mindset with a passion for innovation and problem‑solving.
