CISO / Head of IT Security (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a senior CISO / Head of IT Security to define and execute our security strategy. The role combines technical leadership with strategic oversight to protect our medical device software platform and ensure compliance with global data‑privacy regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a company‑wide information security strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, guaranteeing scalability, reliability and security.
• Lead compliance initiatives for ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA and GDPR.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability testing and manage incident response.
• Supervise procurement and management of hardware and software for a distributed workforce.
• Promote a security‑aware culture through training and policy development.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in information security or IT leadership, preferably in healthcare or finance.
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field; certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a plus.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Cloud security architecture (AWS).
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA and GDPR compliance.
• Risk assessment, vulnerability testing and incident response.
• Information security governance and policy development.
