Construction Site Manager

About the role

agap2, a European engineering services firm, is expanding its Swiss operations and seeks an experienced Construction Site Manager. You will lead the delivery of complex renovation, fit‑out and high‑tech construction projects for office, life‑science and technology clients.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage and coordinate on‑site renovation and construction works.
• Plan, monitor and control schedules, budgets, quality and health‑&‑safety compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Verify that all works follow project plans, technical specifications and client requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical or organisational challenges proactively.
• Lead site meetings, produce progress reports and keep stakeholders informed.
• Support commissioning, inspections, final acceptance and handover activities.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Services Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager or Bauleiter in Switzerland.
• Proven track record with complex interior fit‑out, office, life‑science or high‑tech projects.
• Strong knowledge of schedule, quality and cost management.
• Experience working with international clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Familiarity with common project‑management tools.
