Desktop Support Technician

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Desktop Support Technician to provide on‑site IT assistance at a client location in Vevey. You will be the primary point of contact for end‑users, handling hardware, software, and basic network tasks while working independently in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site support for Windows, macOS, Office 365, and AV/meeting‑room systems.
• Perform PC refreshes, manage assets, and resolve incidents promptly.
• Act as the local liaison for server and network teams, providing hands‑on assistance.
• Support POS systems, printers, and other peripherals.
• Maintain CMDB records and coordinate with external vendors.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in on‑site IT support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Office 365 and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Basic understanding of LAN/WAN and server‑room environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French (B2 level or higher).
• Valid Swiss passport or B/C work permit (required urgently).
