About the role
As the Engineering Manager you will lead a squad responsible for operating and evolving a technology platform that serves thousands of students. You will provide clear technical direction and develop the engineers who build and run the system.
Key responsibilities
- Own the operation and ongoing innovation of the technology platform.
- Provide direction and oversight for technical architectures and systems design.
- Lead and support engineers—set clear objectives, monitor progress, and remove blockers.
- Continuously monitor, improve, and optimise team performance and the systems they build.
Required profile
- Experience leading engineering teams and driving technical excellence.
- Ability to set objectives, track progress and remove impediments for engineers.
Required skills
- Embedding AI in product and platform workflows in partnership with data science/ML teams.
- Driving AI‑native developer productivity through modern tooling and automation such as code assistants, CI bots, and prompt orchestration.
