Full-stack Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Full‑stack Engineer to join a mission‑driven team building products at the intersection of technology, science and decentralized innovation. The role is remote‑first and focuses on creating scalable applications that connect researchers, communities and funding partners.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain web applications designed for scientific communities and research‑focused users.
• Develop robust APIs, backend services, databases and scalable application architectures.
• Create intuitive and reliable user interfaces in collaboration with designers and product stakeholders.
• Contribute to Web3 infrastructure initiatives, including blockchain‑related features and smart contract development.
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Help establish a strong engineering culture through collaboration, knowledge sharing and pragmatic problem‑solving.
• Deliver high‑quality features while balancing technical excellence with business and user needs.

Required profile

• Versatile engineer comfortable working across the full stack in fast‑moving environments.
• Experience developing modern web applications across frontend and backend layers.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on execution.
• Excellent written communication skills for remote, asynchronous teamwork.
• Curiosity about emerging fields such as Web3, decentralized technologies, biotechnology or open science.
