Full-Stack Software Developer for Open Science Platform

About the role

We are looking for a passionate full‑stack software developer to join the team that builds and maintains the open‑source REANA platform for reproducible computational research across Europe. The role supports the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Federation and the EOSC Mesh project, enabling researchers to run large‑scale analyses on federated infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with EOSC partners to develop cross‑node federated workflow infrastructure and support scientific use cases.
• Contribute to the evolution of the CERN node of the EOSC Federation, handling more than 5 PB of open particle‑physics data.
• Deploy, operate, and monitor services on a Kubernetes cloud environment.
• Assist researchers with cross‑node computational data‑analysis examples.
• Participate in the operation and further development of the REANA reproducible analysis platform.

Required profile

• 2 years or less of professional experience in full‑stack development after graduation (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field).
• Eligibility as a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, with a commitment to open‑source collaboration.
• Fluent English and willingness to learn French.

What we offer

• 24‑month fixed‑term contract, extendable up to 36 months.
