HR Specialist – Operations & Recruitment

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on HR Specialist to join our small HR team in Zurich. The role combines day‑to‑day HR administration with full‑cycle recruitment in a fast‑growing fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including data management, onboarding, off‑boarding and monthly reporting.
• Coordinate the complete recruitment process: draft job ads, work with hiring managers, schedule interviews, communicate with candidates and conduct reference checks.
• Support payroll operations by reviewing entries, answering queries and liaising with external payroll providers.
• Administer HR systems such as Personio and Workable, ensure data quality and implement system improvements.
• Assist with HR budget administration, invoice processing and cost tracking in collaboration with Finance.
• Provide administrative support for HR projects, reporting and stakeholder inquiries, maintaining audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in HR services or administration, preferably in a technology‑focused company.
• Proven full‑cycle recruitment experience, especially for technical specialist roles.
• Completed HR‑related education or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent German and business‑level English.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a high sense of discretion and responsibility.
