LNG Bunker Trader Europe

About the role

Join the Global Small-Scale LNG team in Geneva and lead the commercial development of LNG bunkering across Europe. You will be responsible for delivering LNG as marine fuel to international shipping customers while contributing directly to the P&L.

Key responsibilities

• Develop LNG bunkering sales (spot and short‑term contracts up to one year) across key European hubs.
• Prospect and manage relationships with shipping companies, shipowners, brokers and other market participants.
• Structure, price and negotiate indicative and firm offers, managing multi‑million USD exposure and hedging strategies.
• Coordinate with operations teams on feasibility, scheduling, physical deliveries and margin optimisation.
• Support the setup of new bunker hubs, contractual reviews and regulatory compliance.
• Operate within defined credit, risk and compliance mandates and contribute to market intelligence reporting.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in commodity trading, hedge fund environments or related sectors.
• Mandatory experience in marine bunkering or LNG fuel markets.
• Strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory frameworks (IMO, FuelEU Maritime) and customer dynamics.
• Ability to work across multiple cultures and offices with a focus on commercial value creation.
