Logistics & Supply Chain Management Expert (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Logistics & Supply Chain Management Expert to work remotely on a contract basis. You will support our project teams by reviewing key logistics documents, improving workflow efficiency, and creating best‑practice resources.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and validate logistics documents such as packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers for authenticity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Develop annotated sample documentation that showcases industry best practices.
• Assess current supply‑chain workflows and recommend process improvements based on real‑world experience.
• Provide detailed feedback on logistics scenarios, focusing on document structure and optimization.
• Collaborate with project teams to clarify requirements and explain complex logistics concepts clearly.
• Participate in quality‑assurance activities by validating the relevance and correctness of supply‑chain data sets.
• Contribute to the creation of training materials that reflect industry standards and nuanced challenges.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in logistics and supply‑chain management, especially with packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers.
• Strong understanding of logistics workflows, documentation, and global supply‑chain operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Meticulous attention to detail and proven analytical abilities.
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, collaborative environment and delivering high‑quality results on time.
