Material Coordinator – Engine Parts Availability

About the role

As a Material Coordinator you will ensure that all engine parts and consumables are available for engine shop visits and repair projects. You will work closely with procurement, shop managers and account teams to keep material flow smooth and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee availability of engine parts and components during engine shop visits.
• Process consumable material requests promptly and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Procurement to resolve material shortages or delays.
• Monitor material requirements, scrap notifications, shop and purchase orders, and alert the Shop Visit Manager of any issues.
• Provide material alternatives to Account Management for customer discussions.
• Update and close all material data in the SAP system after each shop visit.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Technical Education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general Supply Chain Management.
• Strong communication skills and a solution‑oriented mindset.
• High personal accountability and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using SAP for material management.
