Mobile Engineer (iOS)

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer (iOS) to own the end‑to‑end development of a next‑generation iOS application powered by advanced AI capabilities. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to shape product direction while working closely with backend, machine‑learning and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Integrate AI‑driven features via backend APIs, handling streaming responses, loading states, retries and error handling.
• Optimize performance, memory usage and battery efficiency across a wide range of iOS devices.
• Capture user behavior and feedback to support AI model evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with backend, ML and product teams to define APIs and deliver production‑ready features.
• Maintain high standards for stability, code quality, monitoring and App Store readiness.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis and continuously improve reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SwiftUI, async/await, concurrency and background task management.
• Proven track record of building, deploying and maintaining production‑grade iOS apps.
• Experience integrating AI‑powered or intelligent backend services.
• Solid understanding of iOS performance optimisation, memory management and battery efficiency.
• Familiarity with mobile architectures, RESTful APIs, SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to CoreML, TensorFlow Lite or similar on‑device ML technologies is a plus.
• Experience with feature‑flagging, remote configuration or experimentation frameworks is a plus.
