QA Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of innovative fintech products used in complex payment ecosystems. The role is remote‑first and involves close collaboration with developers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own quality assurance activities within cross‑functional product teams across the development lifecycle.
• Design, execute, and maintain testing strategies for functional, UI, API, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Validate web applications on multiple browsers, devices, and screen sizes for pixel‑perfect experiences.
• Test API endpoints, authentication flows, payload validation, error handling, and third‑party integrations.
• Create reusable test cases, detailed defect reports, and comprehensive documentation.
• Review and improve test coverage, regression processes, and QA documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA tools, workflows, and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of manual and semi‑automated testing of web‑based applications.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on API testing experience.
• Proven experience testing payment platforms or other business‑critical financial systems.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
