(Senior) Consultant - Technology Strategy and Transformation

About the role

EY's Technology Strategy & Transformation team in Zurich offers a consulting role for Consultants and Senior Consultants. You will advise clients on technology strategies, helping them turn technology enablement, digital transformation and enterprise intelligence into their business strategy, and supporting the transformation of IT organizations, operating models and capabilities. You will work with CIO, CDO and CTO level executives across borders and sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to engagement teams delivering clients' strategy, process, people and technology transformations
• Take part in technology consulting engagements covering technology strategy and assessment, business/technology/solution architecture, requirements definition, IT process design, program management and IT operating model design
• Advise on ServiceNow and Microsoft technologies
• Work independently as a team member, keeping senior members updated and anticipating risks
• Prepare high-quality work products on time and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Follow the firm's educational program and contribute to recruiting and retaining consultants

Required profile

• Master's degree from a reputable university with excellent academic records
• 1-3 years of experience for Consultant, 3-6 years for Senior Consultant, in Big Four consultancies, strategy houses or similar roles
• Keen interest in technology; hiring is based on mindset rather than skill set
• Excellent written and spoken English and German

Required skills

• Analytical thinking, problem solving, presentation and communication skills
• Ideally: ITIL and project management certifications (Scrum, PMI, PRINCE2)
• Ideally: knowledge of IT strategy, digital, infrastructure and cloud strategy, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, technology sourcing and IT service management
• Ideally: knowledge of ServiceNow, Microsoft (Office 365, Dynamics, Azure), AWS, Google Cloud, SAP, Oracle, Veeva, IQVIA, Salesforce, Pega and emerging technologies such as AI and deep learning
• Ideally: exposure to programming or scripting languages such as C++, Java, Python
