Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a remote‑first team based in Switzerland. You will help build and scale a platform that delivers meaningful impact to users worldwide, shaping both backend and frontend architecture while leveraging modern AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver end‑to‑end product features across backend services and modern frontend applications.
• Build scalable, maintainable backend services using Java, Node.js or comparable technologies.
• Create high‑quality frontend experiences with React and TypeScript, focusing on performance and reusable components.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, define system boundaries and improve domain models for long‑term scalability.
• Use AI‑powered development tools to accelerate workflows and validate generated code before production.
• Own CI/CD processes, cloud infrastructure, observability, reliability and operational performance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and knowledge‑sharing activities.
• Continuously improve system security, stability and maintainability.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience in full‑stack software engineering with proven backend and frontend expertise.
• Solid experience with Java, Node.js or similar modern programming environments.
• Advanced frontend skills using React, TypeScript and modern web practices.
• Deep understanding of system design, data modelling, architecture patterns and technical trade‑offs.
• Experience with production environments, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Ability to evolve existing architecture incrementally rather than large‑scale rewrites.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools.
