Senior Hardware Product User Experience Designer

About the role

Logitech is seeking a Senior Hardware Product User Experience Designer to join its Global User Experience team in Lausanne. The role blends hardware UX design, platform strategy and keyboard layout creation for Gaming and Personal Workspace product lines. You will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with hardware, engineering and localization teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end product experiences across hardware interactions, considering firmware and software.
• Contribute to platform‑level UX topics such as connectivity, device behaviours and system interactions.
• Translate complex technical constraints into clear, intuitive user experiences.
• Define information architecture and interaction models for complex systems.
• Own and design complex keyboard layouts across multiple products, operating systems and regions, producing production‑ready layout files.
• Ensure consistency across languages, markets and product lines and maintain standards, guidelines and assets.
• Contribute to the Logitech Design System, defining platform and product guidelines and aligning design with engineering implementation.
• Identify opportunities to standardise and scale solutions across products and platforms.

Required profile

• Strong experience designing complex consumer hardware products.
• Proven portfolio showcasing hardware design solutions (e.g., consumer electronics, ergonomic products).
• Ability to translate product work into reusable guidelines.
• Systems thinking with strong product instincts, comfortable with high‑level architecture and pixel‑perfect layouts.
• Attention to detail and visual craft, especially for keyboard layout design.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional hardware, engineering and localization teams.
