Tax Manager

About the role

Due to continued growth, Platform Accounting Group is looking for a Tax Manager to lead tax review and client advisory work while contributing to firm strategy and management. This senior position offers the chance to work with a dynamic team across multiple offices and shape client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and mentor staff to develop their technical and professional skills.
• Manage office workflow, procedures, and client engagement.
• Prepare and review individual, corporate (C‑corp, S‑corp), partnership, exempt and fiduciary tax returns.
• Provide advisory services on tax, finance and business practices.
• Collaborate with the Tax Director on retention, growth and operational strategies.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership and estate tax returns.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting.
• CPA or EA certification required.
• Prior team management experience is a strong plus.
