Tax Specialist – 8‑month Temporary Role

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Tax Specialist to join our Client Documentation and Tax Services Department on an eight‑month fixed‑term contract. The role sits within the Fiscal Reporting team and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of tax statements across multiple international jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate tax statements for more than 20 jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with country‑specific tax rules.
• Collaborate with external providers to guarantee data quality before statement production and correct any anomalies.
• Respond to Front Office inquiries, providing clear explanations and managing tax document orders.
• Work closely with Operations, Front Office, and IT teams to maintain smooth tax processes and participate in cross‑functional projects.
• Contribute to side projects related to tax data, information systems, and operational improvements.
• Monitor regulatory changes, maintain up‑to‑date checklists and process documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a banking or tax environment, focusing on tax services.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent analytical skills to detect discrepancies in complex data sets.
• Strong communication skills for client and Front Office interaction.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams (IT, Operations, etc.).
• Fluency in French and English; additional languages such as German, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese are a plus.
