Corporate Action Specialist

About the role

The Corporate Action Specialist will manage end‑to‑end processing of corporate events for a designated pool of funds, ensuring accurate information flow between custodians, agents, and clients while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and cross‑analyse information from custodians, SWIFT messages, fund prospectuses and providers such as Bloomberg and Telekurs.
• Create corporate event records in the internal corporate action database.
• Answer queries from relationship managers, internal departments and external clients.
• Draft and circulate announcements to relationship managers and clients.
• Reconcile holdings, determine entitlements and manage pending positions.
• Collect, follow‑up and transmit client instructions to correspondents, fund managers and other external parties, ensuring safe delivery and acceptance.
• Book corporate action outcomes in client accounts (cash and/or securities) and review overnight bookings.
• Monitor the lifecycle of corporate actions, coordinating hand‑overs between pools as needed.
• Collaborate with team members across functions to resolve issues and improve processes.
