Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

Calvin Risk, an ETH spin‑off delivering AI assurance software to enterprise customers in finance and beyond, is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer. You will act as the technical bridge between our core platform and clients’ MLOps environments, working closely with data scientists, MLOps engineers and technical leads.

Key responsibilities

• Write custom Python adapters and build integrations that connect the Calvin Risk platform with diverse client infrastructures.
• Apply pragmatic problem‑solving to adapt solutions to real‑world, often messy, enterprise MLOps pipelines.
• Partner with clients during deployments, collaborating directly with their technical teams alongside a business counterpart.
• Assess client environments, identify deployment roadblocks and implement risk frameworks across various model types.

Required profile

• Background in tech consulting, solutions architecture or a similar client‑facing technical role.
• Strong builder mindset with a focus on delivering functional solutions over pure code.
• Broad understanding of the AI/ML ecosystem and ability to quickly research and apply pragmatic solutions.
• Pragmatic executor who balances engineering best practices with tight shipping cycles.
