Procurement Strategy and Transformation Project Lead

About the role

As a Procurement Strategy and Transformation Project Lead you will join an international team driving global strategic projects for Nestlé’s procurement function. You will define direction, set objectives and success metrics, and ensure a seamless transition from strategy to implementation, creating competitive advantage and delivering measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects across all spend categories (direct, services, indirect) for multiple geographic zones and business units.
• Manage a team of 1‑4 direct reports and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to define requirements, prioritize work and deliver on schedule.
• Shape global procurement strategies together with category leaders and generate insights that improve cost efficiency, secure supply and meet sustainability targets.
• Benchmark current practices, propose innovative sourcing solutions and support rollout of new processes and tools while evaluating impact.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, communicate confidently with senior management and ensure alignment with procurement teams in Malaysia, Panama and Switzerland.

Required profile

• Solid experience in procurement, category management, supply‑chain or consulting.
• Proven project‑management expertise with a track record of delivering complex, multi‑country initiatives.
• Leadership experience operating across multiple regions and managing direct reports.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to generate data‑driven insights.
