Travel Sourcing Specialist – Interim

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Sourcing Specialist to join a global organization on an interim basis. You will own the sourcing activities for travel categories, ensuring cost‑effective solutions for air travel, ground transportation, short‑term rentals, and accommodation.

Key responsibilities

• Run tenders across key travel categories, including hotels, air travel, ground transport, and accommodation.
• Bundle and negotiate pricing with travel suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Manage supplier relationships with airlines, travel agencies, and accommodation providers.
• Support new client proposals and existing account management.
• Maintain continuity of sourcing activities throughout the interim period.

Required profile

• Proven experience in travel category sourcing or procurement.
• Strong knowledge of the European travel market, including airlines, hotel chains, and travel management companies.
• Ability to work across multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Fluent German is a strong advantage.
• Available at short notice.
