About the role
We are looking for a Business Developer & Key Account Manager to drive sales of our underwater robotic solutions in the defence and maritime security sectors. You will work closely with founders, engineers and partners to turn cutting‑edge technology into real‑world operations.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle in priority markets – from prospecting and outreach to closing complex deals.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful deal closure.
- Represent Tethys Robotics at customer visits, online meetings, international trade shows and live field demonstrations.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with decision‑makers and feed market insights back to the product team.
- Co‑develop go‑to‑market and partner strategies (resellers, agencies, distributors) together with the founders.
- Prepare tailored proposals in collaboration with engineering and leadership.
Required profile
- 2‑5 years of proven B2B customer‑facing experience with technologically sophisticated products.
- Strong network in defence markets and excellent communication, negotiation and intercultural skills.
- High ownership, curiosity for robotics and ambition to build a pioneering solution.
- Engineering background or equivalent technical understanding of robotics, sensor or maritime technologies.
- Persistent, structured and comfortable managing outcomes end‑to‑end, including sales pipelines and CRM processes.
