English Teacher (IB) – 65% Position

About the role

We are seeking a qualified English Teacher to join the International Baccalaureate (IB) section at Collège Champittet in Pully, Switzerland. This 65% position involves delivering high‑quality English instruction to IB students within a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English to IB students, fostering academic progress and personal development.
• Create a positive learning environment using principles of positive discipline.
• Coach students by setting challenging, inspiring learning objectives aligned with the Collège philosophy.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the strengths and needs of all learners while maintaining high expectations.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student learning and achievements.
• Plan, assess, and report on student progress in accordance with IB standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in English.
• Qualified Teacher status.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
• Native‑speaker level English; French fluency is a plus.
• Clean criminal record.
• Swiss or EU citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit.

• Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum and assessment methods.
• Ability to adapt lessons to diverse learner needs.
