English Teacher (IB) – 65% Position

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic English teacher to join the International Baccalaureate (IB) section of Collège Champittet. The role is a 65 % position, based on our campus in Switzerland, and involves delivering high‑quality English instruction to IB students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English to students in the IB programme, adapting lessons to diverse learning needs.
• Contribute to students’ academic progress, personal development, health, safety and well‑being.
• Create a positive learning environment using principles of positive discipline.
• Set challenging, inspiring learning objectives aligned with the school’s philosophy.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student achievement and progress.
• Plan, assess and report on student learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in English.
• Qualified Teacher status.
• Minimum three years of successful teaching experience, preferably in an international school.
• Native‑level English proficiency; French fluency is a plus.
• Clean criminal record.
• Swiss or EU citizenship with a valid Swiss work permit.
