Manufacturing Engineer – Automated Production

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading high‑tech manufacturing company in Switzerland. The position is hands‑on, focused on automated assembly lines, and requires direct involvement in commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure availability and performance of highly automated production and assembly lines.
• Support industrialization, commissioning, and ramp‑up of new production systems.
• Independently analyse and resolve process and equipment issues in a running environment.
• Identify root causes of failures and implement sustainable improvements.
• Drive optimisation initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and cross‑functional teams.
• Act as the technical point of contact for products and processes.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (FH/HF or equivalent) in automation, mechanical or production engineering.
• Hands‑on experience in automated series production or similar industrial settings.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve issues directly on the shop floor.
• Structured, solution‑oriented, and pragmatic working style.
• Fluent German (minimum C1); English is a plus.
