Accountant – Accounts Receivable/Payable

About the role

ProAmpac is seeking an Accountant to manage both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for its Kirchberg site in Switzerland. The role supports the company’s financial and operational objectives by ensuring accurate, timely processing of invoices and maintaining the integrity of financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Process and post incoming and outgoing invoices (AP & AR).
• Monitor open items, support dunning and collections.
• Record financial transactions accurately and promptly.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile financial ledgers and intercompany accounts.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
• Generate ad‑hoc reports and support the finance team on special projects.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in AR/AP.
• Exposure to month‑end closing processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured working style.
• Hands‑on mentality with the ability to work independently.
• Positive, proactive attitude and good communication skills.
• Fluency in German; English proficiency is an advantage.
