DevOps Engineer – AWS Cloud Platform

About the role

Join a digital solutions team building the cloud services behind IoT products sold globally. This newly created role gives you clear ownership of DevOps work, allowing developers to focus on product delivery while you strengthen platform reliability, security and delivery capability.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the DevOps capability for an established AWS cloud platform.
• Manage Kubernetes containerisation, deployments, release activity and supporting test processes across the platform.
• Keep services, libraries and tooling current, planning upgrades and replacing obsolete components before they become risks.
• Monitor and improve platform stability, availability and security, and respond effectively to incidents and urgent third‑level support needs.
• Make delivery more repeatable and efficient by improving automation, operational practices and the handover between development and production.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience operating cloud‑based production systems, including containerised applications, deployments, monitoring, security and incident response.
• Experience with AWS is preferred; Azure experience is also welcome if you can transfer knowledge to AWS.
• Practical understanding of software delivery and ability to work effectively with developers, APIs, integrations and connected products.
• Relevant degree or equivalent depth of professional experience.
• Professional English proficiency; German is a plus but not required.
