About the role
We are seeking a motivated and creative Event Sales Coordinator to join the team at Baur au Lac. In this role you will support the planning and execution of events, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests while upholding the hotel’s high standards of hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, quotations and contracts for corporate and private events.
- Coordinate with internal departments (catering, rooms, technical) to align event requirements and timelines.
- Maintain the event database, track bookings and update status reports.
- Provide on‑site support during events, handling guest inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
- Contribute ideas for new event concepts and promotional activities.
Required profile
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
