About the role

The Head of Account Management will lead and scale a high‑performing Account Management organisation in Switzerland. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape commercial success by managing top‑tier merchant relationships, driving revenue growth and ensuring long‑term client retention.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop the Account Management team, setting performance expectations and creating development plans.
  • Define and own KPI and OKR frameworks, tracking revenue, conversion, approval rates and portfolio growth.
  • Build scalable onboarding, hiring and training programmes to support team expansion.
  • Personally manage strategic relationships with top‑tier merchants, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to analyse performance, ROI and growth opportunities.
  • Drive upselling, cross‑selling and transaction volume expansion across the client portfolio.
  • Establish segmentation, client tiering, retention frameworks and revenue growth playbooks.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Finance, Legal and Integration teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Provide market insights and client feedback to influence product and commercial strategy.

Required profile

  • 6+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success or Business Development, preferably in fintech or payments.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to scale high‑performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, merchant lifecycle and transaction economics.
  • Demonstrated success managing high‑value client portfolios and delivering measurable revenue growth.
  • Excellent analytical abilities to interpret transaction data and identify performance gaps.
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on proactive revenue generation.
