Maintenance Specialist – Production Maintenance (ISO Class 7)

About the role

As a member of the Production Maintenance team in a GMP‑regulated cleanroom (ISO Class 7), you will ensure the reliability and performance of complex manufacturing equipment for an in‑vitro diagnostics leader. The role combines hands‑on maintenance, automation, and digitalisation to keep production lines running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned, preventive and corrective maintenance, calibrations and servicing on fully and semi‑automated, robotic and laboratory equipment.
• Document all maintenance and modification work in GMP‑compliant records and update work instructions.
• Drive digitalisation of maintenance processes, identify optimisation opportunities and implement predictive‑maintenance strategies.
• Coordinate spare‑part procurement and schedule maintenance windows in line with production plans and external service providers.
• Provide first‑ and second‑level troubleshooting support (≈30% of time) during two‑shift operations and occasional on‑call weekends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Maintenance, Automation, Process Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automation or a demanding production environment, preferably within a GMP setting.
• Proven ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues on automated equipment.
• Familiarity with regulated‑industry documentation requirements and controlled‑document creation.
