Mechanical Design Manager

About the role

CSC Costruzioni SA is seeking a Mechanical Design Manager to lead the design, coordination and execution of HVAC and plumbing systems for a major project in Geneva. The role involves ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards and quality expectations while supporting site activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, coordination and execution of HVAC and plumbing systems throughout the project.
• Manage technical development of the MEP scope, reviewing drawings, calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support to site activities and coordinate with designers, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Develop technical solutions to minimise disruption to ongoing operations.
• Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks, supporting contract and procurement evaluations.
• Participate in procurement activities, technical evaluations and reporting to the Head of Design.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Energy, Civil, Building Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in design or management of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and major MEP systems.
• Ability to coordinate designers, site teams and subcontractors.
• Good understanding of contractual aspects and project change management.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
