Migration Project Manager – UniField

About the role

The Migration Project Manager will lead the migration of MSF’s custom ERP system UniField back to the core Odoo platform, ensuring risk mitigation and long‑term sustainability. The position is based within MSF Operational Center Geneva and supports multiple Operational Directorates worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the migration project plan, including timelines, budgets and resource allocation.
• Coordinate workstreams managed by the core team and those internal to each Operational Directorate.
• Ensure data integrity and oversee testing, validation and deployment activities.
• Identify, monitor and mitigate risks associated with the current custom setup.
• Communicate progress and issues to the UniField Board and senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate change‑management processes and user training across field locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale ERP migration projects.
• Strong project‑management background with ability to lead cross‑functional, multicultural teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to field sites as needed.
• Commitment to MSF’s humanitarian mission and values.

Required skills

• Odoo / OpenERP platform knowledge.
• ERP migration methodologies and data migration techniques.
• Project‑management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
• Change‑management and stakeholder‑engagement experience.
