Commis de salle – service de luxe à Genève

About the role

The position is for a Commis de salle (room server) at L'Atelier Joël Robuchon, the Michelin‑starred restaurant within The Woodward hotel in Geneva. Reporting to the Maître d'hôtel and the Assistant Maître d'hôtel, you will act as an ambassador of the luxury service offered to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate orders between the dining room and the kitchen.
• Assist in the set‑up and maintenance of service stations.
• Support the chef de rang and demi‑chef de rang during service.
• Set and clear tables, ensuring impeccable presentation.
• Participate in client billing and follow‑up.

Required profile

• Hospitality diploma or equivalent hotel school qualification.
• Experience in a similar role within a starred restaurant or palace.
• Strong knowledge of gastronomic culture, organization, attention to detail and teamwork.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking French and English; a third language is a plus.
• Available immediately; split‑shift schedule with Sundays and Mondays off.
