About the role
The IT Support Specialist will provide first‑ and second‑level assistance to end users in a multinational environment based in Geneva. You will be responsible for ensuring that workstations, accounts and productivity tools run smoothly, while delivering friendly, user‑focused service.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support for Windows and macOS workstations, Microsoft 365 and other productivity applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software incidents promptly.
- Prepare, configure and deploy devices for new hires and manage onboarding/off‑boarding of accounts and equipment.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting and maintain IT inventory of laptops, mobile devices and accessories.
- Support ongoing IT projects and ensure endpoint compliance with security updates, antivirus and policies.
- Manage user access rights according to approval workflows and follow established IT procedures.
- Communicate clearly with users about issues, resolutions and recurring problem trends.
Required profile
- Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
- Hands‑on experience in an IT support or help‑desk role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills in English and French.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 and endpoint management tools.
- Knowledge of identity and access management concepts.
- Basic network troubleshooting abilities.
- Hardware and software troubleshooting expertise.
