Quant Developer – Build Automated Trading Systems

About the role

As a Quant Developer at mathrix, you will design, implement, and maintain software and models that power our automated trading strategies. You will work in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment, collaborating closely with top‑tier traders and senior professionals to deliver high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise code for trading systems that run continuously.
• Design, back‑test, and implement quantitative models.
• Analyse project requirements, ask critical questions, and research optimal approaches.
• Maintain version‑controlled codebases and ensure strict coding standards.
• Collaborate with traders, researchers, and other developers to integrate solutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field with strong academic performance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high‑stress environment.
• Proactive attitude, clear communication, and flexibility.

Required skills

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages.
• Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix command‑line environment.
• Experience with Git version control.
