UX Designer, YouTube Shopping Creator

About the role

Google is looking for a UX Designer to shape shopping experiences for YouTube creators. You will help creators sell their own products or affiliate items across videos, Shorts, live streams and posts, turning complex interactions into intuitive, delightful tools.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and cross‑functional stakeholders to gather requirements and propose creative solutions.
• Produce wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.
• Advocate for user‑centered design decisions and prioritize refinements that improve the creator experience.
• Design new shopping experiences that enable creators to grow their businesses on YouTube.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of interaction or UX design experience in product design.
• Portfolio or website showcasing relevant work.
• Preferred: Master's degree, 2+ years in a complex cross‑functional organization, 1+ year leading design projects, and a track record of launching consumer products.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma and other design tools for creating mockups and prototypes.
