Community Engagement Specialist, Autonomous Systems

About the role

The World Economic Forum is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to support its Autonomous Systems portfolio. The role will help build and nurture a global community of leaders from industry, government, academia, start‑ups and international organisations working on robotics, embodied AI and autonomous systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of the Forum’s robotics, embodied AI and autonomous systems programmes, including executive communities, publications, workshops and events.
• Support the growth and engagement of high‑level communities of business leaders, policymakers, researchers, investors and entrepreneurs.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely follow‑up and community development.
• Monitor ecosystem developments, identifying emerging companies, technologies, research institutions and trends.
• Contribute stakeholder intelligence and ecosystem mapping to executive briefings, publications and thought‑leadership pieces.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Centre for Frontier Technologies and Innovation and other Forum teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in community building, stakeholder engagement or ecosystem coordination.
• Strong understanding of the robotics, embodied AI and autonomous systems landscape.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work with senior leaders across sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary, international environment.
