FAAS Manager – Assistant Controller (IFMS)

About the role

EY is expanding its Integrated Finance Managed Services (IFMS) in Switzerland and seeks an Assistant Controller to support the Regional Controller. The role combines financial reporting, operational excellence, and cross‑functional collaboration across multiple accounting frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial information under IFRS, US GAAP, Swiss Code of Obligations or Swiss GAAP FER as required.
• Collaborate with FAAS specialists on technical accounting matters and contribute to regulatory reporting such as SEC filings, EU submissions and SIX Swiss Exchange reporting.
• Assist with treasury processes, stock‑based compensation tracking, and coordination with banks and transfer agents.
• Support payroll‑related activities, audit schedules, and internal/external audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 6–9+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong focus on financial reporting and compliance.
• Experience in a corporate/in‑house finance function and exposure to public‑company reporting.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SAP, Concur and Ariba.
• Analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
