FP&A Manager – Group Support – Europe

About the role

The FP&A Manager – Group Support is a senior finance leadership position within Edwards Lifesciences’ Europe region, responsible for consolidating, analysing and presenting financial plans and results across Europe and the broader EMEACLA region.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Group Support FP&A cycle, including AOP, latest estimates and rolling forecasts, framing outcomes within a strategic narrative.
• Lead executive reporting and variance analysis for SVP and senior director audiences, anticipating questions and providing actionable insights.
• Drive OPEX and CAPEX budget discipline, identifying cost risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Coordinate the EMEACLA regional financial consolidation across EEMEA, LATAM and Canada, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Serve as a senior business partner to finance, operations, strategy and country management, translating complex data into clear recommendations.
• Lead cross‑divisional projects to improve reporting quality, streamline planning processes and implement financial tools.
• Collaborate with Accounting, HR, Supply Chain, IT and local FP&A teams to ensure integrated financial oversight.
• Deliver high‑impact ad‑hoc analyses on performance, cost structures and investment levels.

Required profile

• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics; MBA or CPA/CIMA/ACCA a plus.
• 8–10 years progressive FP&A or financial controlling experience in a multinational environment, preferably medical device or pharma.
• Executive presence with proven ability to present to SVP and senior director audiences.
• Strategic mindset to connect financial analysis with business strategy and proactively surface insights.
• Strong stakeholder influencing and partnership skills across geographically dispersed teams.
• High analytical rigor and attention to detail.
• Self‑directed, adaptable and able to operate autonomously in a fast‑paced matrix.
• Full professional proficiency in English; additional European languages are an asset.
