About the role

Medartis is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join its Digital Solutions team in Basel. You will help build and evolve a modern web platform for innovative medical‑technology applications, integrating AI coding agents into the development workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable Java web APIs using Spring Boot.
• Create modern web applications with Angular, TypeScript and WebGL/3D technologies.
• Translate business and clinical requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Integrate AI‑assisted development tools, reviewing and validating generated code and establishing guardrails.
• Contribute to system architecture, technical direction, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Required profile

• University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable field.
• Fluent in English or German, both spoken and written.
• Analytical, solution‑oriented mindset with ability to turn clinical and business needs into technical designs.

Required skills

• Java and Spring Boot.
• Angular, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• HTML, CSS/SCSS.
• WebGL or other 3D technologies.
• Experience with AI coding agents or LLM‑based development tools (advantageous).
