International Arbitration Associate (Swiss Qualified) – Geneva

About the role

This position offers a unique opportunity to join a leading international law firm in Geneva as an International Arbitration Associate. You will become part of a highly regarded team that advises multinational corporations, sovereign states and state‑owned entities on complex cross‑border disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on high‑value international commercial and investor‑State arbitrations across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, construction, commodities, mining and natural resources.
• Handle arbitrations under ICC, ICSID, LCIA, UNCITRAL, SIAC and Swiss Arbitration Centre rules, with seats in Geneva, Zurich, Paris, London, Singapore, Seoul and Hong Kong.
• Work closely with senior practitioners, contributing to every stage of the arbitration process from pleadings to award enforcement.
• Draft pleadings, motions, witness statements and conduct comprehensive legal research.

Required profile

• Swiss legal qualification.
• Between 1 and 5 years of post‑qualification experience, preferably in international arbitration.
• Experience gained within a recognised international or specialist law firm.
• Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and legal research abilities.
• Strong interest in building a long‑term career in international arbitration.
