About the role

We are seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join the Iberia Desk of a private bank in Geneva. The role offers exposure to a broad range of legal matters within private banking, focusing on the Iberian markets.

Key responsibilities

Provide legal support to internal teams, especially the Iberia Desk.
Review, draft and negotiate legal documents, contracts and banking documentation.
Assist with legal matters related to private banking activities and handle requests from Swiss and international clients.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the bank’s operations.
Collaborate with Front Office, Compliance and Credit teams.

Required profile

University degree in Law.
Initial professional experience in banking, finance or a legal environment, preferably in Switzerland.
Strong interest in developing a career in private banking.
Fluency in Spanish, French and English (written and spoken).

Required skills

Excellent communication and drafting abilities.
Rigorous, proactive approach and comfort working in an international setting.
