About the role
We are seeking a senior IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimise our on‑premises IT environment in Geneva. You will ensure high availability, security and performance of critical infrastructure services.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Windows and Linux servers, VMware, storage and backup systems.
- Administer core services such as Active Directory, DNS, GPO and PKI.
- Automate operations using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code.
- Lead infrastructure migration, separation projects and disaster‑recovery readiness.
- Maintain technical documentation and support security/compliance initiatives.
Required profile
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in on‑premises IT infrastructure engineering and operations.
- Strong background in Windows Server, Linux, VMware, enterprise storage and backup solutions.
- Good understanding of networking, AD, DNS, PKI and infrastructure security.
- Experience with Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
