Junior Data Engineer

About the role

Join NEXUS Automotive International’s data initiative to collect, transform, and enrich product reference data from partners. You will help build tailored data services that add value for the NEXUS community and the broader automotive aftermarket.

Key responsibilities

• Set up initial AI calibration and recipes for partner data onboarding together with business experts.
• Coordinate with service providers, run technical committees, track SLA performance (mapping precision >95%) and escalate gaps.
• Handle 500‑800 data‑mapping exceptions per month, including new products and taxonomic ambiguities.
• Monitor data pipelines (HubSpot → AWS → Snowflake), detect anomalies in volume, format, or latency, and report weekly to the steering committee.
• Contribute to pipeline evolution by developing Python transformations and Snowflake SQL analyses.
• Support BI services such as Share of Wallet, price alerts, and sector dashboards, ensuring data quality and query performance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (HES, EPF) in data, computer science, information systems or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience with SQL and Python.
• Curiosity, resourcefulness and a fast learning attitude.
